NDP wants to see auto insurance report

The Opposition NDP is calling on the Alberta government to release a report on automobile insurance profits.
The annual report by the superintendent of insurance includes data on how much companies collect in premiums and how much they paid out on claims.
The United Conservative Party government removed the cap on insurance rates in 2019.
NDP Leader Rachel Notley says premiums have gone up even though there have been fewer claims due to people driving less during the pandemic.
