Brooks RCMP investigating shots fired from one moving vehicle at another

BROOKS, AB – Brooks RCMP are investigating after shots were allegedly fired from one vehicle at another early on Saturday morning after an altercation at a city establishment.

RCMP say after the altercation in the 100 block of First Street West one vehicle left the area and was followed by a black SUV which then allegedly fired several gun shots at them before fleeing.

Visible bullet holes were found on one vehicle during the investigation.

RCMP have identified one suspect and charges are pending. A second suspect is still outstanding. RCMP say this was not a random attack and the general public is not at risk as a result of this incident.
