Date-rape drug, cocaine and shotgun seized from city home

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A local man is facing drug and weapon charges after a search warrant was executed in the city this week.

Medicine Hat police say they seized 250 ml of Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB), 4.5 ounces of cocaine and a loaded 12-gauge shotgun. GHB is commonly referred to as the “date-rape drug.”

The search warrant was executed in the 500 block of Fourth Street SW.

As a result, Luc Reaume, 41, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of GHB for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm and possession of a firearm without holding a valid license
