Moose has left WestVue Dog Park, says city

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City staff believe a moose spotted at WestVue Dog Park this weekend is no longer there.
Parks and recreation staff were at the park this morning and “were able to determine the moose has moved on from the area,” reads a news release from the city.
WestVue is a fenced off-leash area near Gas City Campground and next to an open prairie landscape. The city says park users should always remain aware of their surroundings as various wildlife can still gain access and may be present at any time.
Any interactions with wildlife or sightings of concern should be reported to Alberta Fish and Wildlife at 403-529-3680.
