Man gets 10-month jail sentence for impaired driving crash that injured two-year-old boy
MEDICINE HAT, AB – A Medicine Hat man who pled guilty to impaired driving causing bodily harm has been sentenced to 10 months in jail.
Regan Glauser was sentenced on Monday in Court of Queen’s Bench, more than three years after the collision that sent a two-year-old child to Alberta Children’s Hospital with a fractured and displaced vertebrae.
The sentence was a joint submission between Crown and defense lawyers and also includes a three-year driving prohibition upon Glauser’s release.
Glauser was charged after the collision on Jan. 25, 2019 in which his pickup truck crossed the centre line on Hill Road and struck a minivan, injuring the child and the driver.
