Ward 9 – Suffield byelection vote this weekend

DUNMORE, AB – Voters in Cypress County’s Ward 9 – Suffield will head to the polls Saturday and Monday.

They’ll choose either Keith Ritz and Layla Vickerman to represent them on Cypress County council.

An advance poll takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. On Election Day Monday the poll will be open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Voting takes place at the Suffield Community Hall.

The byelection is needed due to the death of incumbent councillor Alf Belyea.

Belyea was the only one to file in the ward in last fall’s civic election. He died just before election day on Oct.18.
