Dec 24, 2021 | 6:42 AM

MEDICINE HAT — The snow might be helpful if you’re driving a sleigh with 8 tiny reindeer, but for those with Christmas holiday driving plans; maybe not.

City police asked people to exercise caution as the snow hit suddently last night, and it appears motorists listened.

There were only 2 accidents listed on the police log and none involving injury.

Outside the city, 5-1-1 Alberta reports most highways in southeastern Alberta are in good condition, except for the Number one east to the Saskatchewan border where the road is partly snow covered.

The forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of light snow late this afternoon with periods of snow for Christmas Eve.

Wind chill values will make it feel like minus 27 overnight into Christmas Day.
