MEDICINE HAT, AB – One of the most memorable times at Christmas for many is a big turkey dinner.

To ensure everyone has access to a warm, holiday meal, there are three places you can go in Medicine Hat.

Friday on Christmas Eve, the Salvation Army will be hosting Christmas dinner from 4 to 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

The Mustard Seed is offering dinner on Saturday, Christmas day. They’ve been busier than ever at their new location and are expecting more guests than in previous years.

The Mustard Seed’s Christmas dinner will be offered from 8 to 10 a.m. and they will also be handing out backpacks filled with toiletries.

“We are able to sit down now so we do have our sit down meal and it’s nice and warm in here and we currently sit 25 at a time as we rotate them through over the course of 2 hours,” managing director Colette Eirich said.

The Spirit of Christmas Feast is also offering a place to go for a Christmas meal. They will be serving it at the Root Cellar from 4-8 on Christmas Day.
