A local venue wants you to see them as a benevolent, community spirited, economy driver, and yet they charge all the charitable, not for profit organizations who donate time and money to the community, 40% of that organizations TOTAL lottery ticket sales just to be on the grounds during a certain week. So, they want the total piece of property that they sit on for $1 a year of 25 years, and yet they gouge the charitable, not for profits 40% of their total sales. Not just the tickets sold on the grounds but all the sales for that particular lottery. The venue needs to work with all charitable, not for profit Organizations and help them, help the community not just be myopic and pad their bottom line.

The long path that runs behind the leisure centre is a path that I utilize on a daily basis. I have recently noticed there is pipe being put into the ground. I have also noticed the copious amounts of trucks driving through the field AND on the walking path. It clearly has become a dangerous place to walk with my dogs. I should not have to worry about whether or not my dogs or I will be run over by these men working. If they need to drive all over the place like that, I only find it suitable and necessary to shut down the entire walking path! Does anyone else that uses this path agree??

Interesting. Republicans/Conservatives in USA had a 7 trillion deficit from the last President in his 4 years. This is NOTHING to do with COVID. In Canada we squawk at a trillion because of Covid help for all Canadians. AB last 2 years debt is higher than the 4 years previous to our current party!! Why is this party still here?

Just wondering why a local store here is allowed to demand your drivers license, when, in actual fact, only the police, government, and banks are entitled to that information.

Our premier idolizes Quebec so much, so are you forming us to be the largest drop outs/teachers earn the least in Canada for wages?
