AHS: Medicine Hat already out of free COVID-19 rapid test kits, more coming next week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Alberta Health Services says Medicine Hat is out of free COVID-19 rapid test kits.

The kits were being distributed at the AHS Community Health Services Clinic on Dunmore Road.

The clinic opened at 8 a.m. At 9:15 a.m., the AHS South Zone Twitter account posted that they have run out of the kits and that more will be available next week.

AHS sites in Lethbridge, Pincher Creek and Coaldale were also out of kits. according to the social media post. AHS says more than 400 kits were handed out in each community today.

On Wednesday, Premier Jason Kenney announced that more than 500,000 Rapid Antigen Test kits would be available for at-home use at about 740 sites across the province.
