BROOKS, AB – RCMP in Brooks are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects in two robberies last week.

The robberies happened at two separate stores on Nov. 10 and 11.

Mounties say that on Nov. 10 just before 9 p.m. a lone male suspect wearing a grey hood and mask allegedly entered a store in the 300 block of Cassils Road West with his hands in his pockets. The suspect demanded money from the lone employee in the store at the time and fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The male suspect is described as 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hood and a light grey winter jacket with a grey balaclava hood.

On Nov. 11 at about 9:15 p.m. RCMP received a call about a robbery in the 100 block of Second Street West.

RCMP say a lone male suspect allegedly entered the store carrying a black reusable bag. The suspect told the lone employee he had a weapon in his bag and demanded money. He fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and police believe the suspect got into a nearby vehicle.

The suspect is described as 6-foot with a large build. He was last seen wearing a black and white striped sweater, gloves, a black hat and a white facemask with two eyeholes in it.

No one was physically injured in either incident and both investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information that could aid the investigation is asked to contact Brooks RCMP at 403-794-4400. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at P3Tips.com or by using the P3 Tips app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
