MHPS investigate high-risk violent incident

MEDICINE HAT, AB- A home in the 300-block of 7th Street SW remains under police tape this afternoon, as police continue to investigate a high-risk violent incident.

According to the MHPS, officers were called to the area at around 2 a.m. Not much is being disclosed about what occurred, but police said the street was closed, and the public was asked to avoid the area.

The street has now reopened.

Police believe the incident was isolated, and there is no risk to the general public.
