Charges laid in tire slashing incident

MEDICINE HAT, AB- Four people, including three youths, have been arrested and charged in connection to a string of tire slashings that occurred in the Southeast Hill area.

The Medicine Hat Police Service said each person has been charged with 13 counts of mischief and Mischief damage under $5000.

Police received numerous reports of tire slashings on November 10th , but they said the tire slashing occurred the night before, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage.

The names of the accused will not be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
