Bridge Church looking for male clothing donations as weather cools

MEDICINE HAT, AB – With the weather getting cooler, Bridge Church is getting busier.

It is now looking for some food and clothing donations to help the less fortunate.

Pastor Shyla Maneschyn says there is a big demand right now for men’s clothing, especially warm jackets. Along with a big need for clothing for teenage boys, including shoes and jeans.

She said they are so busy that any donations that come in now, go out right away.

“We didn’t think clothing would be such a need but anytime we put up a store, it’s busy,” Maneschyn said. “As well as every time we bring out our two-day emergency food hampers, those go right away as well.”

Donations can be made at Bridge Church between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesdays or contact them to arrange another time.

If you’re in need of a food hamper or clothing, contact them through their Facebook page.
