Multi alarm fire in N.E. Crescent Heights this morning

MEDICINE HAT — There was a multi-alarm fire early this morning in North East Crescent Heights.

A passerby smelled smoke and heard an alarm at a home in the 900 block of 17 Street NE. at 3:14 a.m.

Several fire engines, along with EMS, police and city utility crews responded.

The home was not occupied as it was under renovation. and firefighters kept the flames from spreading to nearby structures.

A fire investigator remains on scene looking at the cause.

No one was hurt.
