Mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics coming back to the mall

Oct 29, 2021 | 10:11 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat says mobile vaccination clinics at the Medicine Hall Mall are providing high vaccination rates and will be back this weekend.

The clinic will be at the north entrance along Carry Drive SE from 1-6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday.

The city and mall are partnering to offer the clinics.

As with the past two weeks, the clinics will be open to anyone over the age of 12 who is eligible to receive their first or second dose. No appointment is needed and upon receiving your vaccine you will get your proof of vaccination.

The times are tentative and are subject to change without notice, says the city. The dates and locations of further mobile vaccine clinics will be announced once confirmed.

Current provincial masking mandates will be in effect at the clinics.

The city reminds residents to take basic steps to protect themselves and their loved ones from all respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19 and influenza.

  • Stay home when sick
  • Wash and sanitize hands often
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Avoid touching your face, nose, mouth or unwashed hands
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched

The mobile vaccination clinics are hosted by 19 to Zero, which hosted clinics at the Family Leisure Centre and Medicine Hat College last month.
