New city council to be sworn-in next week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat’s new city council will be sworn-in on Nov. 1.

Following the meeting will be an organizational meeting where mayor-elect Linnsie Clark will confirm the council appointments to each of the standing committees.

According to the City of Medicine Hat, there will be limited public seating available due to public health restrictions and the majority of space being reserved for guests of council. There will only be about 20 public seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

The event will be streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
