Garage fire on SE Hill out quickly this afternoon

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Fire crews were called to a structure fire in Medicine Hat just before 3 p.m. this afternoon.

The garage in the backyard of a house on SE Hill went up in flames. Neighbors said the fire grew fast and smoke could be seen across the city.

Firefighters were able to put it out quickly.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
