The leadership shown by the Premier and the City in regards to Covid restrictions for the safety of all is lacking at best. Good time for all large events so we can get those hospitalizations higher.

People complaining about vaccinations and companies requiring mandatory vaccinations. Companies are trying to protect all employees and those those employees come in contact with. Am I glad there are senior homes making it mandatory? Yes, if it reduces the risk of my parent dying of it. Do you actually think other companies will also not follow in some capacity? Maybe you don’t get life insurance or pay higher premiums for it. Private health insurance same thing. There is higher risk being unvaccinated.

Not sure where this fear of vaccinations are. Polio killed and disabled people, then a vaccine came. Do you hear about all the people getting polio these days? What about prior to MMR vaccines, the number of children who had serious issues? It have heard some wacky things it impacts my immunity system, do you not think antibiotics can as well, it’s called superbugs where you need stronger antibiotics to fight off infection.

I hear I am not getting vaccinated over and over. Those very same will expect the same quality care if hospitalized. Do you know the cost of hospitalization for an acute bed for a week? How about ICU bed? It isn’t a $199.99 per day stay. There is the patient staff, cleaning, food, pharmacy, electrical, heating, equipment, medications, supplies, laundry, maintenance, technology. If needed it is an expense gladly paid but if it can be possibly prevented by a vaccine….what are you waiting for?

Edmonton residents and Hatter residents are taking Covid very differently. Hatters are “do what you want when you want” attitude.
