Man assaulted near Central Park Wednesday afternoon

MEDICINE HAT — City police are looking to speak to a person who may have witnessed an assault yesterday afternoon near Central Park.

A male victim flagged down a city police officer around 1 in the afternoon, and was taken to the regional hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

Police would like to speak to a witness who assisted the victim following the assault and anyone else with information on this case.
