High-risk stop on Trans-Canada Highway

REDCLIFF, AB – Officers from Medicine Hat Police Service and Redcliff RCMP were involved in a high-risk call on Wednesday afternoon.
According to MHPS, officers stopped a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway through Redcliff after receiving a call about a male with a firearm who had made threats to his domestic partner.
The male was intercepted before reaching city limits and police say there was no risk to the public.
