Local business is the cornerstone of Medicine Hat, that’s why we’re asking you to Amplify Medicine Hat by nominating local businesses we can highlight and support.

True North K9 Compound has had a paws-itive impact on dogs, their people and the community since opening a few years ago.

Located in the Brier Park Light Industrial Area, the private dog park is the first of its kind in the city.

People who nominated True North say the company truly cares for its clients – four-legged and two-legged.

“In the 3 years they have been open they have donated time and money to fundraise for all the local animal charities. They care deeply about our mental health as well as the health and safety of our dogs. They are all about love and care for the community they live in,” writes one nominator.

It makes sense that people would be so impressed with the caring atmosphere. The idea behind True North was born after seeing a loved one missing out on time with their pet due to health issues.

“We want to offer a place of security that enables everyone to stay connected to life in general with their special companion that gives so much to them unconditionally everyday with only a wag of the tail and a whole bunch of licks,” reads the website.
