Cypress Hills getting upgrades on Saskatchewan side

Aug 12, 2021 | 3:18 PM

Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is getting some improvements thanks to the Saskatchewan government.

Planned upgrades for the park before the 2022 camping season starts include a campground development to provide 60 serviced campsites and a new campground service centre and a new playground structure.

In total Saskatchewan is investing more than $10.4 million in facility and infrastructure improvements in southern provincial parks in 2021-22.

Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross says it’s important parks visitors are provided with amenities that are safe and accessible to all.
