To address the problem, the Medicine Hat Police Service has been working closely with business owners. This includes providing them with several recommendations intended to enhance safety for patrons and the general public.

The public will also noticed an increased visible presence at these locations during peak hours. This will help ensure compliance with all provincial and municipal regulations.

The MHPS would like to remind everyone to drink responsibly and that it is an offence under the Alberta Gaming, liquor and Cannabis Act for any minor (under the age of 18), to attend licenced premises unless properly permitted.
