Search to resume tomorrow for missing man at Redcliff River Valley Park

REDCLIFF, AB– The search for a missing middle-aged man will resume tomorrow, the Medicine Hat Fire Service confirmed.

Chief Officer Paul Blassettti said fire crews received a report from witnesses, at the Redcliff River Valley Park about a man who entered the river and did not resurface.

The Redcliff RCMP and Fire department responded to the scene, as did the Medicine Hat Fire Service and EMS. Halo Air Ambulance conducted an aerial search, as a team searched the water for any sign of the missing man.

The man has not been located yet. The search has been called off due to darkness and will resume first thing in the morning, the Medicine Hat Fire Service confirmed,
