Anxious moments in search for missing child

9 year old boy found after short search

MEDICINE HAT — The fire department was called in last night to help police in the search for a missing youth.

The 9 year old boy had gone missing from the area of Anson Avenue in Tower Estates southwest.

The fire department was needed to use it’s thermal imaging camera and aerial truck.

But that proved to be unnecessary – as the boy was found within 20 minutes, shortly after midnight.

He’d wandered over towards the Gas City Campground.
