Police investigation underway following house fire this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A police investigation is underway following a house fire in Medicine Hat early Wednesday morning, July 7.

According to police, the Major Crimes Section is working with the city’s Fire Service to determine the circumstances.

The fire happened on Saamis Rotary Way SW Wednesday morning around 2:20 a.m.

Earlier this week, the fire department responded to a small structure fire on Sunday, July 4 at the same residence.

The platoon chief says were no injuries at the single-family dwelling at that time.
