RCMP receiving missing dog complaints in SW Saskatchewan

SWIFT CURRENT, SK – RCMP are warning pet owners in southwestern Saskatchewan about a potential dog-napper in the area.

Swift Current Rural RCMP Detachment says it has received five reports of missing dogs from rural homes in the Swift Current and Lac Pelletier areas since late May.

In a news release, RCMP say they suspect the dogs were stolen.

RCMP are investigating and advising rural residents to keep their dogs safe and watch for suspicious activity.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Rural RCMP detachment at 306-778-5550 or 310-RCMP or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
