More than $16,000 raised for Basics for Babies

UPDATE: With a huge push in the last hour the total for Basics for Babies is up to $16,337.

CHAT 94.5 and Mr. Lube teamed up once again today to support the Medicine Hat & District Food Bank with the Basics for Babies campaign.

Late on Thursday afternoon, donations total $9,400 and a mountain of diapers.

Basics for Babies helps support parents and families in the city and region.

They have been accepting all items for families and children, but they spent today primarily hoping for donations of diapers and cash.

As well, $10 from every oil change at Mr. Lube today is going to Basics for Babies.

It is going until 6 p.m. and you can donate to Basics for Babies by stopping by Mr. Lube on Kingsway Avenue or sending an etransfer to donate@mhfoodbank.com.

All cash donations are eligible for a tax receipt.
