Obstacle race coming back to the Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The city’s obstacle course race, Conquer the Coulee, is back this summer.

The challenging feat is a test of endurance, strength and teamwork and will be held July 10 at Kin Coulee Park.

This year will see a few changes including a new organizer, Union Races and new obstacles. Competitors will have the option of racing on a five- or 10-kilometre course.

Podium awards will be presented to the top three in the following categories.

• 8-13-year-old male and female
• 14-17-year-old male and female
• 18-29-year-old male and female
• 30-39-year-old male and female
• 40+ male and female
