Roadway overlay starts at three locations this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The city’s annual roadway overlay program will begin this week.
On Wednesday, milling operations will start at:
- Division Avenue North from Eighth Street NE to 12 Street NE
- Gershaw Drive SW from south of Seventh Street SW to Highway 1
- 10 Avenue SW from Gershaw Drive SW to 17 Street SW
Milling involves removing the top 50 mm of asphalt to accommodate the placement of a new asphalt surface. Asphalt re-surfacing is expected to start the week of June 7, once milling is complete.
