Two new COVID-19 cases in Medicine Hat Catholic division

MEDICINE HAT, AB – More cases of COVID-19 have been identified at schools in the city’s Catholic division.

The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education says cases have been identified in an individual at Monsignor McCoy High School and at Mother Teresa School.

In both instances, the division says it is working closely with AHS to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students and staff members. AHS has indicated that the school and unaffected classes are permitted to continue.

All close contacts of the positive case have been identified and contacted directly, adds the division.
