Esplanade’s School Art 2021 available online

MEDICINE HAT, AB – One of the Esplanade Art & Heritage Centre’s most popular exhibits is ready for virtual viewing.

The School Art 2021 exhibit features 600 pieces of work from 41 different area schools.

This year’s gallery features the creative endeavours of local students from kindergarten to Grade 12.

Xanthe Isbister, director and curator of Art Gallery and Collections at the Esplanade, says you’ll see all kinds of art, from high realism portraits and sculptures to innocent pieces by kindergarteners.

“It’s my favourite exhibition of the year because it just immediately makes you feel good. It’s filled, it’s just a room filled with happiness,” Isbister said.
