Electronics, Peruvian cloth stolen from Esplanade
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Police are investigating a crime of opportunity at a city landmark.
On April 21 at about 11 p.m. two suspects entered the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre while a user group was at the facility. The suspects stole about $3,000 worth of items.
Police say a Peruvian cloth, electronics, transit passes and debit terminal were stolen. The cloth belongs to a private citizen and is not part of the Esplanade’s collection, says a spokesperson.
