Anwar Kamaran to appear in court Monday

More charges for Walsh gas station owner

REDCLIFF, AB – A Walsh gas station owner is facing new charges.

Anwar Kamaran, 44, will appear in court on Monday on a charge of uttering threats.

RCMP received a complaint last month about threats being made on social media.

It’s alleged a person used an alias to create a social media account and then started posting several comments pertaining to personal violence against an intended victim.

Following an investigation, Kamaran was charged on Thursday.
