Police name suspect in domestic violence and stolen truck incident

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Police are asking for help from the public to locate the suspect in a domestic assault on March 18.

According to police the suspect fled in a stolen pickup truck before officers arrived.

In a release, the Medicine Hat Police Service says the suspect can now be identified as Gerald Mohr. The pickup truck has been recovered, but Mohr remains at large.

Morh is described as 46 years old, 5-foot-10 and about 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say Mohr is arrestable for the common assault, two counts of breah of probation and theft over $5,000 in relation to the March 18 incident.

Police say to not approach the suspect or attempt to apprehend him.
