Alberta completes move into Step 2 of reopening; Medicine Hat down to 11 active COVID-19 cases
Health Minister Tyler Shandro says the province will move fully into the second step of its path forward, easing restrictions on retail capacity limits and child, youth and adult performances.
Effective immediately, restrictions will be eased on retail capacity limits and child youth and adult performances allowing individuals and groups can now rehearse and perform for filming or livestreaming of a performance.
Shandro said child and youth performances including dancing, singing theatre and playing wind instruments, must follow the same restrictions for youth sport, performance and recreational in step one. That includes a maximum of 10 people, mandatory masking at all times and three-metre distancing between participants.
Spectators and audiences remain prohibited.
