Redcliff considering mask bylaw consistent with Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB — With the passage of a Face Covering Bylaw for the City of Medicine Hat, Redcliff will be next to consider similar legislation.

The director of emergency management for the Town of Redcliff, Derrin Thibault, said he’s in the process of creating a bylaw that would be consistent with the one in place for neighbouring Medicine Hat.

It could be presented to Redcliff Town Council at their meeting on Dec. 14.

Cypress County council has not made a recommendation to administration at this time regarding creation of a bylaw for its consideration.
