MEDICINE HAT — It wasn’t raining Teddy Bears like it was in the past – but the Salvation Army was still able to collect 475 donations as the Teddy Bear toss morphed into the Teddy Bear Drop.
The event was held in the Co-Op Place parking lot Sunday afternoon, replacing the yearly event at a Tigers hockey game.
Following a quarantine period, the items will go to senior homes, the Salvation Army Toy Hampers and the pediatric unit at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
