Moduline Industries confirming two cases of COVID-19

MEDICINE HAT, AB- Two staff members at Moduline Industries have tested positive for COVID-19.

The company confirmed the positive cases to CHAT News on Monday.

GM Daryn Schlamp said the company got word of the first positive case on Friday evening and the second positive case this morning.

The company is working with Alberta public health and is following all recommendations.

“As far as people being safe, we have been more than diligent with our processes and policies to avoid close contact,” Schlamp said.

“We are looking at implementing mandatory masks as of today,” he said.

Schlamp said it is believed the two cases were contracted outside of the workplace and were not connected.
