Staff member at Senator Gershaw tests positive

Some staff and students at Senator Gershaw school placed in quarantine due to positive COVID result

BOW ISLAND, AB. — 5 staff and 11 students at Senator Gershaw school in Bow Island are now in quarantine after Alberta health services notified school officials about a positive staff case of COVID 19.

Senator Gershaw remains open to in-person learning and Prairie Rose school division says it’s working with A-H-S to make sure necessary measures are in place to protect students and staff.

Additional cleaning will focus on areas where the individual was present.
