A man serving life in prison for the murder of a Medicine Hat woman is appealing his sentence.
Noah Bentley filed a personal handwritten notice of appeal.
Earlier this month, Bentley was sentenced to life with no parole for 10 years for the fatal stabbing of Brenda Woloski.
Bentley alleges several errors including rejection of his claim of being not criminally responsible.
He suggested other options like being found guilty of a lesser charge or a retrial.
