OYEN, AB – Oyen Health Centre (Big Country Hospital) continues to be listed as having an outbreak after two staff members tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
No patients have been linked to the outbreak that was declared on Nov. 19.
The outbreak is one of three that were declared this month at AHS South Zone acute care facilities.
Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge is listed as having an outbreak at its renal dialysis unit after three health-care workers tested positive for COVID-19. The listing came on Nov. 19, five days after an earlier outbreak involving three staff members was declared over on Nov. 14.
