Medicine Hat Musical Theatre postpones ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

MEDICINE HAT, AB – It was wonderful news two months ago when Medicine Hat Musical Theatre announced it would present a nine-show run of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play beginning this month.

The announcement on Sunday was anything but wonderful.

The group has postponed the show due to the rising COVID-19 numbers in the city.

“We will continue to monitor our options and will notify everyone if and when we may be able to safely put on this show in the future,” reads a post on the group’s Facebook page. “In the meantime, thank you to everyone who supported our theatre by purchasing tickets for this show.”

Tickets purchased will be converted to credit for a future show, or can be donated to the group, which will use the money toward theatre improvements and upgrade.
