UPDATE: COVID-19 outbreak declared over at Bow Island Health Centre

Update: AHS has declared the outbreak at the Bow Island Health Centre over.

In a tweet issued Saturday morning, AHS said the outbreak was contained to staff.

An outbreak is still ongoing on the Alfred Egan Home. Visitations are restricted to end of life situations only.

BOW ISLAND, AB- A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the Bow Island Health Centre.

According to AHS, three staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

No patients have tested positive for the virus.

The outbreak was declared on November 12, 2020.

AHS says visitation at the hospital is restricted to end-of -life situations.

Family members and friends of patients are advised to meet virtually with loved ones.
