UPDATE: COVID-19 outbreak declared over at Bow Island Health Centre

Update: AHS has declared the outbreak at the Bow Island Health Centre over.

In a tweet issued Saturday morning, AHS said the outbreak was contained to staff.

An outbreak is still ongoing on the Alfred Egan Home. Visitations are restricted to end of life situations only.

The COVID-19 outbreaks at both the Chinook Regional Hospital and the Bow Island Health Centre have been declared over by the Medical Officer of Health.

This does NOT include the separate outbreak at Alfred Egan Home in Bow Island, which is ongoing. To keep everyone safe, visitors to Alfred Egan Home will continue to be restricted to end-of-life situations only, until further notice.
