City pushes waste collection back one week due to snow

The city of Medicine Hat has decided to postpone all waste collection services this week.

The snow that’s blanketed roads has also made back lanes difficult to get through.

Here’s the statement from the city of Medicine Hat.

“Due to hazardous weather and lane conditions, the City of Medicine Hat has suspended garbage, yard waste, recycling and commercial collection services this week. The normal zone collection schedule will resume November 16.

Yard waste collection will be extended by one week and will end on November 20.
