City electric crews working to restore power in southeast Medicine Hat

Here’s the latest update from the City of Medicine Hat on this mornings power outage.
Update 8:38 AM: The problem has been Isolated, all power has been restored. The cause of the outage is equipment failure, and crews continue to make repairs. With the road conditions, again please slow down and give crews room to work safely.
Update 7:40 AM: The outage is affecting 883 customers. It is unknown at this time when the power will be restored as crews are investigating. Please give them extra room to work as efforts are being made more difficult with the snow and icy conditions.
As well, city transit service is expected to resume around 9:45 this morning, as they are waiting for the snow ploughs to clear their routes.
