Medicine Hat College is saying there are four cases of COVID-19 connected to the Brooks Campus.

The following email was sent to the college community on Thursday:

Medicine Hat College has been notified that three additional COVID-19 cases have been connected to our Brooks Campus. The first case was confirmed on Sunday, Oct. 25, which brings the total to four at Brooks Campus. Three of the four cases are related beyond the college community.

The three individuals confirmed today were last on campus Friday, Oct. 23 and are following public health directives and protocols. Medicine Hat College is in contact with Alberta Health Services, who will notify close contacts should further action be required.

Enhanced cleaning measures continue with deep cleaning of classrooms after each use, with additional attention to high touch areas in public spaces.

To support a healthy working and learning environment, it is critical that we all continue to practice good hygiene and stay home when experiencing any COVID symptoms.
