MHPS respond to car crash Friday evening

MEDICINE HAT– a Chrysler Intrepid rolled and landed on its roof after getting into a crash along Division Avenue South and 1 Street SE.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:45 Friday evening.

The MHPS alongside other emergency personnel attended the scene.

Police say the Chrysler sedan lost control while traveling eastbound on 1 Street SE, and struck a parked truck on the right shoulder, and then overcorrected and rolled on its roof.

A westbound traveling truck then hit the sedan.

Police say drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors to the crash.

The driver of the westbound truck sustained only minor injuries. The estimated value of the damages is around $10,000, according to the MHPS.
