Wrangling skills put to use by city police officer

MEDICINE HAT — An off duty police officer was called out after midnight to put his wrangling skills to use.

Two horses had wandered into the city and were grazing in several parks from the Hamptons to Southlands Boulevard.

Armed with a bucket of oats and a lasso, the officer was able to corral the horses so other officers could get them onto a trailer and take them to the Medicine Hat Feeding Company.
